Bananas were the featured fruit at the Xtreme Fitness Boxing and Fitness Bootcamp Grand Opening. Not only was it a great idea to have for easing hunger pains but the fruit actually prevented a few people from cutting their work out short...such a powerful little snack. I just recently found out that bananas aid  in morning sickness, depression, can cure a hangover, stop a mosquito bite from itching, and even remedy PMS. WOW. Below is a list of all the other great ways that this little fruit can be of big assistance.

  •  Potassium is a vital mineral, which helps normalize the heartbeat, sends oxygen to the brain and regulates your body's water-balance. When we are stressed, our metabolic rate rises, there by reducing our potassium levels. These can be rebalanced with the help of a high-potassium banana snack.
  •  According to research in The New England Journal of Medicine eating bananas as part of a regular diet can cut the risk of death by strokes by as much as 40 percent!
